Undergraduate Students
Undergraduate students can volunteer as research assistants, participate in Directed Studies and/or Honours opportunities, or apply for research awards.
Graduate Students

We are involved in diverse social science and humanities research, employing qualitative, feminist, digital, narrative, ethnographic, Indigenous, community-engaged, and multimodal methodologies
Economics, Philosophy & Political Science
Our working groups and labs form the foundation of our research efforts, where our faculty work with a number of community partners to advance knowledge and provide hands-on research and learning opportunities for students.
History & Sociology
Our research projects engage with local and global issues, ranging from human rights to cybersecurity, and the impact of migration. Join us in thinking actively about how to shape the world in which we live.

INTERDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH
Bachelor of Sustainability (BSust)
An interdisciplinary program offered by the Irving K. Barber Faculty of Science, Irving K. Barber Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies
Students take a set of core integrative courses specific to sustainability along with a set of advanced courses in one of the following four concentrations:
- Environmental Analytics
- Environmental Conservation and Management
- Environmental Humanities
- Green Chemistry
